WELCOME TO FRIENDS OF THE SLU LIVER CENTER

In 2003, a group of Saint Louis University patients and community members banded together to form the Friends of the Saint Louis University Liver Center.

Each year we present these funds to the world renowned Saint Louis University Liver Center. Since 2003, we have presented the Saint Louis University Liver Center with more than $2,600,000 in donations. The contributions allow them to continue to make great strides in basic and clinical research in the treatment for all types of liver disease.

Raising funds and recruiting auction items are tasks always on the agenda in the Friends office – and you can help with these items from home. You can do a letter writing campaign or share your story online with friends and family (learn how to put your story on the Friends website-link here) and spread awareness about liver disease as well as raise funds for the research and educational programs at the Saint Louis University Liver Center. You may also hold your own fundraiser (learn more about doing your own third party event).

Another volunteer opportunity which can be done from home is recruiting auction items for one of the Friends fundraising events.

If you have a special skill and would like to volunteer (are you a writer, an artist, musician etc.) we would love to hear from you (include a link to email us). We encourage new ideas and welcome new volunteers!!

Another way to help is by enrolling in the Schnucks eScrip program. It’s easy, and doesn’t cost a penny! Schnucks will donate a percentage of your purchases to the Friends of the SLU Liver Center.
Just click here to email your name, mailing address and number of Schnucks eScrip Cards you would like to receive.
The Friends will register you for the program, and you will receive your eScrip card(s) within a few days. Present your card to the cashier every time you shop at Schnucks, and you will generate contributions for the Friends of the SLU Liver Center.
Together, you, Schnucks and eScrip make a difference for our community.
