What is a Third Party Event?A third party event is a fundraiser which is coordinated and executed by individuals or organizations independent of the Friends of the SLU Liver Center (SLULC). The Friends of the SLULC.have no fiduciary responsibility and little or no staff involvement in planning of your third party event. Third party events can be of any size ranging from a letter writing campaig, BBQ, themed party, or if you're really energetic, it could be as large as a golf tournament. If you would like to help the Friends organization by coordinating a third party event, please review the Third Party Packet, complete the necessary paperwork and return a copy to the Friends of the SLULC. Once received, a Friends representative will be in touch with you to discuss your third party event application. BBQ & Jams Third Party Fundraiser at Stovall's GroveTop St. Louis musicians, a historic location, and finger lickin' good BBQ all served to benefit research at the BBQ & Jams Session at Stovall's Grove in Wildwood, MO on April 10, 2010. What started as a yearly jam session for local musicians, turned in to a fun-raising afternoon. Special thanks to Hosts, Liz & Dennis Elze, owners of Stovalls's Grove, St. Louis BBQ Society members who grilled up the best BBQ ever, and great musicians from local St. Louis bands and one rocker all the way from Cape Girardeau! There were over 100 people in attendance and $2,300 raised for the SLU Liver Center. The entertainment was awesome and no one left hungry! Your Third Party event could be featured here!
