The Friends of the Saint Louis University Liver Center have embarked on a mission to build a Young Friends Board of Directors that energizes and develops the next generation of leadership for cancer- related nonprofits.
Would you like to put your skills to work to benefit a non-profit organization? We welcome you to get in on the ground level and support the Young Friends of the SLU Liver Center. This is an opportunity to gain board experience in a comfortable learning environment, and network with your peers!
Our mission is to raise money to:
- Provide support and build future leadership for the Friends of the SLU Liver Center
- Promote understanding and awareness of liver disease
- Support research, treatment and cure of liver diseases at the Saint Louis University Liver Center
Our primary focus is to create awareness of the impact various liver conditions have on our friends and family as well as the St. Louis community. The Young Friends raise money to support this effort!
All funds raised by our fundraising efforts stay in St. Louis and each year, funds are presented to the world renowned Saint Louis University Liver Center. The contributions we provide allow the SLU Liver Center to continue to make great strides in basic and clinical research in the treatment for all types of liver disease.
We invite you to join this energetic group of young professionals. To learn more about this opportunity you may email Leslie Hodges.
